Penhaligon’s London Portrait’s collection is an exuberant collection of perfumes with interesting personalities and brilliant scent worlds. One of my favourite’s from the collection is the Coveted Duchess Rose, a beautifully rich and sensual perfume with heart notes of rose paired with mandarin and musky wood. As with all of Penhaligon’s fragrances, the floral notes are not overpowering or sweet but indulgent and luxurious. I particularly love wearing this fragrance in the autumn and winter seasons due its warm, rich scent. Paired with another Portrait’s fragrance, the Uncompromising Sohan which has oud, rose and vetiver notes it is one of my favourite fragrance combinations.
